Tortuga Teleportation Quest is now broken (FIXED)

It appears that the 'Dig up a Tortuga totem' item at the end of the Tortuga Teleportation quest is now bugged. I searched over 100 treasure chest circles on Tortuga-- no Tortuga totem. Others got the Tortuga teleportation totem as recently as two days ago. My suspicion is that when the "Gold and beta key hunt" was added to the treasure chests today -- that all of the items in the chest -- including the Tortuga teleport totem-- had their drop rate made the same as the Beta Key drops -- i.e. Very Rare.

One of the system admins confirmed it should be a random drop -- not tied to a specific treasure chest drop spot-- My questions to the coders are 1) what should the drop rate be for the Tortuga totem 2) Is 100 tries / failures within the realm of valid possibilities to find the totem-- or should the number be much lower (as expected), and 3) was the coding for the treasure chests changed for the contest when the beta keys were added as drops? (If so, could someone check the totem drop rate)

I wonder if the Beta keys from digging has somehow bogged down this quest. I know its been passed along to the devs, so hopefully soon matey!

Thank you for your quick detective work coders. I just dug up the tortugan artifact on my first dig since the game was fixed last night. I got the Tortugan Artifact in -- of all places-- the Governor's Garden on Port Royal. (Which is odd because the quest says to find it on Tortuga-- but it's a small quibble). You can consider this bug squashed.

Oh, and thank you to whomever dropped a beta key into my first loot pouch today. I guess reporting bugs gets you beta keys. (And if it was just coincidence -- "report a bug, get a key when it's fixed" is a great incentive to go on bug hunts for the developers)

FYI: you can find Beta Keys 1 of 2 ways: From the main login page-- go to Manage Account. The key will be listed under Earned Keys. Within the game, go to Sea Chest -- Send Feedback -- Manage Account and look under Earned Keys
