Unable to purchase the "Large Barrel"

Every time i try to purchase it it says "trade failed". This is the expanded cannon ammo

I also have the same problem when trying to purchase any large item. I only can buy the small barrels and sacks? I have 2 pirates and this only happens on 1 of them.

you have to buy them all from small medium to large. you cannot skip to just large

and check your inventory. You might already have the larger barrels.

You have to have bought small and medium pouch before you buy the large one. And you have to buy small first
