In this post I will show my ideas for some of the ship upgrades which I think should get buffed /nerfed and why.
Firestorm:
This is the worst upgrade, I don't see it often and I have no idea as to why someome would use it atm. Costs a lot more than Storm Chaser, and doesn't do more dmg with broadsides, nor is it faster, yeah it turns better, but compare it to Fortune Hunter and you will see how bad it is.
Ideas:
Armor 100% all the way across the 3 lvls.
Speed 110% - > 115% - > 120%
Turning 120% - > 125% - > 130%
Cargo 100% across all lvls.
Firepower: 35% firebrand - > 55% firebrand - >75% firebrand
More firepower while adding some actual progression.
Copperhead:
It is too strong. It does waaay to much dmg.
Armor same as it is now.
Speed same as it is now.
Turning should stick to 100% and not 105%.
Firepower:15% explozive->25% expplozive - > 35% explozive
The problem with it was that it didn't fire 1 or 2 explozives before, now it will, but it won't fire 5 or 6 making it one shoot a hunter or ANY ship which isn't armor bonused in SvS.
It feels as ur playing easy mode versus a Battle Royale. ( deadliest ship)
Storm Chaser:
Actually fine but the speed doesn't feel special, Fortune Hunter has 110%, The Forgotten Firestorm has 114%, so it isn't something amazing.
Armor as it is now.
Speed 120% - > 125% - > 130%
Turning as it is now.
Cargo as it is now.
Firepower as it is now.
I have looked again at the stats and practicly they will all be balanced now.
Copperhead is slow, but tankiest and has great firepower.
Skull and Crossbones is less tanky ( but still very) but more mobile while having decent dmg.
Fortune Hunter is an all rounder.
Firestorm has almost full firebrand broadside ( giving it good dmg instead of non existant!!) , is fast, and has best mobility.
Storm Chaser is the fastest, has great firepower and has decent mobility.
