Cannot believe this happened, but had to create this thread for anyone in the area to post they are ok, anyone to ask questions about friends/family in the area, etc.

DEEPLY saddening and horrific... condolences to all families who lost someone and a QUICK recovery to the injured!


Hope everyone here at TLOPO, dev/player/admin/etc. is safe and their familes friends are as well. Post any updates about this issue here!
 
I don't have an update, but I am sure glad someone took the time to make this thread, because I wanted to as well.

Heartfelt condolences go out to all the families of those who were either lost or injured in the recent Las Vegas shooting.

For a while, I have lived under a quiet, safe roof, and it I think I am one of many people who takes events like these for granted. But when you look at these events, you realize that life is too short, and it is for those we lose, that we must live.

Words cannot describe the immoral and simply disgusting actions committed in Las Vegas. It shows the worst sides of humanity, and sometimes, I truly believe that we simply are a race bred for violence.

But there is always light at the end of the tunnel. People who were strangers at a concert now leave as brothers. We forge stronger bonds, to fight these terrors, because there is good in each human being, even if it takes a long time to show itself.

So, for those lost in Las Vegas, we must hold hands, give each other our hearts, and help each other out.

TERROR. Terror can only exist where there is fear. And nothing makes fear diminish like LOVE.
