Not entirely sure what you’re asking for so I’ll go obvious - he is a brand new boss inside a building in Hollowed Woods.

I go into the Watcher's Hovel and can see the Watcher on the edge of my compass, as a quest target, stared red dot, but I can't do anything to it. Ranged weapons don't work for me? Anyone know how to get the Watcher out?
I haven't figured her out yet or even beat her. Sometimes she appears above the front door, high up. I think she's a kind of vapor bat. I see the star on my compass as well and it's always by that door. I don't have any idea how to activate her. To early for spoilers I think.

I went to a new server, and there was a band of 3 or 4 people killing the Watcher. I revived one and healed them. Once they left, the Watcher respawned in the middle of the room, and the fight was on. Bring a friend if you aren't big, and resourceful, the Watcher is tough!

I hate the fact you have to go inside a building to kill the watcher because it's pretty dark and I can't even solo the boss because it has so much hp, I guess I have to use some tonics, the curse ability and the life drain ability to kill it not to mention a good weapon?
For those who were/are having trouble getting the kill i found switching to Abassa worked.

Pull up your quest window and track the watcher. Sometimes you need to click to track something else then click to track watcher. Go to the hovel and wait outside on a busy server. When at least 3 people enter go inside and wait. Look at your compass for the star ID that she/he/it is there.
So far it's always been by or above the entrance door. I've thrown grenades at it and have seen spider webs and an odd form above the door in the grenade mist just before it starts to attack.
I still don't know it's routine yet. But if enough people swing at it it stays near the floor and fights toe to toe. I don't have my audio on so I don't know the audio clues either.
I'm almost a 40 and I have only gotten small bones from the watcher. People will be hanging there just like DH and mob her/him/it. It will get easier to kill.

The run back after jail isn't fun but don't give up.
