My favorite ship was my final ship I owned before Disney ended POTCO, a War Galleon by the name of the Gun General.
In order of liking for the other ships,
1. Galleon
2. All others.

My favorite was ship type was the frigate and I was working on getting my war frigate armored up and then the game shut down

War brigs are probably better all around, but War Frigates have always been my favorite

There's my opinion. I like the speed of War Sloops, but I don't like how their firepower is quite low, how they look and their health. The War Brig is probably the strongest ship overall, but I generally look for only a few stats which are very good on a ship because of my playstyle, and not a bunch of decent stats. I don't like the speed of War Galleons, but they look cool, can do alot of damage and store alot of cargo. I love how War Frigates look, their decent handling is good along with their firepower. I always turned to them in POTCO and a War Frigate was my main ship. (I sailed alot back then, so the ship I used was important to me)
