Where are the new legendaries?

Forsaken shallows has been out for a while and I have heard NOTHING about the new legendaries. Does anyone know what is happening? I feel like people are getting the normal legendaries and old cursed legendaries but no new ones. Is the rate different, are they bugged? What the heck is going on here.....

Iv seen a few people use the khopesh sword before. i saw one person idle in tortuga and another person i was sailing with. Iv never seen it in action though.

I dont remember what its called but it was one of the ones that was shown in the screenshots for new weapons, which i cant find anywhere

If it's a kelp blade, a hammerhead blade, or a puffer blade it's just a new famed. NOT a new legendary

Yes. Dang, i thought they were legendary

They aren’t “conventionally” lootable according to one of the developers. They’re attainable somehow in forsaken shallows but the developers haven’t told us how. It’s supposed to be a surprise.
