I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. We may have had a bad reputation over here as the "Most Dangerous City", but times are changing for the better! (Also, we aren't Australia, the only thing you really need to worry about is not getting hit by rush hour traffic during the day. Night... well, every city has those places you don't go to, but still it's getting better!)
Also, being in a state that's got lakes surrounding it so large that you could swear were actual seas, made me dream of sailing on them in the Pearl.
Oh... And then there's the pothole issue with the state...
It's so bad, we named an Ice Cream flavor after our road problem!
(Side Note: It's also really good. The Ice Cream, not the roads.)
