Where is the Sept. Peddler set?

I would think it to be most logical to know the structure of the TLOPO team before making uneducated assumptions about our productivity, no? The development team is completely separate from the storyline/content development team. What the two departments do have largely no impact on the workflow and productivity of the other. The storyline/content development team were the ones orchestrating the little foreshadowing event that many players attended yesterday. The developers were still actively working on bugfixes in the interim.

Now, this is just a matter of my opinion only, but I feel it to be a bit petty to be getting this worked up over a small glitch in peddlers. I've already said there's a fix in the works. It should be coming down the pipeline into the production server sometime today.

Thank you.

again, i want to point out that i was not pointing any blame towards any staff member.
saying the time was better spent else where is hardly throwing blame.

I truly understand that... I think we should all bear in mind though that we do not know the full aspect of how things are triaged in the game development. Nor what the team is faced with on a day-to-day basis. What "I" ALWAYS try to remember is that this is NOT our beloved TLOPO team's jobs. These people volunteer their time, work and energy around their lives to work on this fantastic project... Personally I think that if I knew everything that was going on, my head would spin................. That being said my friend, rest assured that even though our friends on the TLOPO team are human like the rest of us, I am confident that they try very hard to do things in the very best way possible, just as we would with a cherished project that we are working on... :) Have a great day Fortune!

@Fortune Treasurestealer The issue is, you expected something that was never discussed. They said there was a GM event, that was about it. They never mentioned boss battles, code giveaways, quests, or any of that, so, all in all, I don't see the harm in them having the event. The analogy "when I go to a party, and expect refreshments, etc, etc doesn't hold much water. You would expect these things, if they were promised. The team never promised anything, other than an event, which they had (and seemed to have booming attendance from what I've seen). No false promises. As far as the peddler outfit goes, I want it too, but the team has been astoundingly busy pushing updates, fixing bugs, prepping for transition to open beta, and still trying to have normal lives outside the development of this game. Cut them some slack, and be easy on them. The problem with forums, is sometimes we forget there is another human, with real feelings on the other end of ourf message. Just be considerate and patient, I don't see this as a reason to be as upset as your messages make you appear to be. You'll get your new outfit. Just be less aggressive towards the devs, they're doing their very best, and I like to see happy, and pleasant posts here on the forums! :)

love how people make a mountain out of a mole hill.
well i'm not going to continue this, simply put at an event something actually takes place thats what makes it an event, no need for everyone to gang up on me for simply stating the time was better spent, i said nothing against the staff, i realize what their job is like and what they go through, and the stress and lack of time involved therein, and it goes without words that we are all thankful to the staff that they brought the game back.

if i wanted to drag this out i would point out what is defined as an event but i won't as i am sick of the bombardment against me for a simple statement. (this is the perfect example of why i rarely join forums or take part in them, too many people misinterpret simple things and stretch them out of proportions)

i'd like you to kindly point out where i said anything against the staff?
if i had a problem with one or more member(s) of the staff i would approach that person privately and personally about that issue and explain my concern in the polite and reformed manner such a thing requires, i hold nothing against the staff , pointing out that the glitch with the peddler still exist and that the time was better spent otherwise is hardly being harsh, have you seen the news, media, and social sites these days? i think we both know i could have said things far far worse and uglier, but i didn't, i simply pointed something out that in no way form or how was pointed towards any staff member, but i can see it was a mistake to think this forum was any different then any other one out there, therefore doubtful i will bother to post anymore, if stating a simple factor brings this i would hate to see what an actual opinion would rain down.

These events don't have an impact on progress of bugs being fixed/features being implemented. As you can see based on the link I provided above, the September Peddler outfit is fixed in the next update. These events are organized by the Storyline team which is SEPARATE from the Developers (the ones who fix the bugs). This thread seems to have kind of gone off topic but yes, the Peddler outfit has been fixed and you will be able to get them once the update takes effect.

I apologize if it seemed I was attacking you, it was not my goal, my point is, the time they spent had nothing to do with lack of production on updates. There are several teams that develop the game. The event they hosted had absolutely no effect on the production of the next update. My comment about the devs was more broad. As of late, they've for some reason, been under a lot of fire lately, and I just feel like they need a break. Saying "time could have been used more effectively" is a very broad and unfair assumption towards the devs. I'm just trying to offer as little more context to the situation:)

I guess we need to reiterate again the simple fact that this A FREE GAME FUNDED BY NOTHING.
Amazes me every time I get on here and I see: "We deserve this" "Should be spending time doing this" "It's unfair because of this"

I hope you don't think that I'm one of those people? I'm in agreement with you, 100% I just saw you quoted my post, and though you might think I'm acting like that lol Because I agree with you completely

I'm with LesPaulObsession my friend, I will not sugar coat anything to you. The forums are generally a VERY happy and constructive place. There have been a few voices in the weeks leading up to your joining that partook in vicious attacks against team members and community members. Phrases that you used such as "does not seem/sound professional to me." And calling into question the team's productivity and triage decisions without knowing much about what they are up against here lately will trigger a lot of people who will react protectively and defensively. I can't even being to explain how much they have accomplished, what they have had to deal with even outside of the game itself and here in the forums and the monumental obstacles they have overcome for the community here to enjoy............... I do NOT want any community member who wants to have fun, meet great people and be constructive in helping the team to be discouraged and fade into oblivion. You're new after all! ............. My humble suggestion though... Would be to approach an issue, say with the wardrobe.... with something like... "I noticed that the new September wardrobe hasn't been updated yet! The team really pumped up this new outfit and I've been really looking forward to it! Does anyone know what happened or could they give us an estimated time of arrival for the new clothes?" ....... This can not be misconstrued as blaming, attacking or calling into question the team's passion and dedication to moving the game forward in a way that is in their... and our... best interests! I'm not trying to tell you or anyone else how to talk in the forums... It is, however, most productive to word issues in a constructive, professional and respectful tone for our TLOPO team. That's what makes the best and most helpful beta players.... Again... Have a wonderful day! :)

I quoted your post and bolded that statement because it needed to be made clear again for some reason. It was nothing against you :P, just that I thought I needed to clarify what I agreed with you with

All good mate! Lol, just wanted to be sure. In more related news though, I am looking forward to the new peddler outfit lol

EDIT: I just saw you boldfaced part of my reply lol, my mistake! XD

I agree with Fortune. Nothing rude or negative was said directly to the staff. He was speaking assertive not in an aggressive manner.
