The only reason I had a Fortune Hunter War Brig was because it had the maximum cargo out of all the ships always enjoyed being on someone else's FHWB and seeing the haul after a long Mat Run... but I found it quiet difficult to sail, to me it seemed to have different handling and broadsides to the other ships, sort of temperamental. :eek:

Aye, it had a horrible turning radius and broadside angle.
 
Had a War Frigate and Galleon, no clue as to why I had the War Galleon, after I got the Frigate I almost never used the Galleon lol

I feel you bro lol. I was that way most of my Caribbean life, but when I did get access I had a War Frigate and War Galleon, and I think I kept my light sloop too because it was only 2 months of access. After my access wore off I kept my light sloop and [locked] war Frigate, and had to sell the War Galleon to get the Light Galleon back.

While the light galleon was the only decent ship available to basic access members, it actually packed a pretty good punch if you mastered sailing.
 
I had 3.
Light Sloop: Mainly for speeding around the Caribbean, getting to wild islands quickly, etc.
War Sloop: Same as above but meant more for battling enemy ships.
War Frigate: My favorite ship of the entire game. It has wonderful firepower and it was spectacular in SvS.
 
I wasn't a member on the game, although i could have bought any ship in the game and i could have bought it 3 times. XD
 
War Frigate: For most of my trips and battles, armor upgrades.
War Sloop: For fast transportation, hit-and-run attacks, and whenever I felt like using the lightning shot cannons I had it upgraded with...
War Brig: To attract more crew members; people were more attracted to War Brigs, probably since it was the newest and most expensive ship. Also had it upgraded with lots of cargo space.
 
Light Frigate ftw. Honestly I liked it more than my War Frigate unless I had a large crew... it was so freaking fast I could just circle everything shooting it and win. I remember taking down hunters with it solo, and with one other guy onboard doing fury guns we took down a SoTL...
