Megathread White screen when loading

Its an issue related to Intel integrated graphics. I recommend posting:
  • Your system's hardware specifications
  • A game log
    • Located at: C:\Program Files\TLOPO\logs OR C:\Program Files (x86)\TLOPO\logs
  • And as many details as you can give
Either here to the forums, or emailed to TLOPO at [email protected]. Having as much data as possible is the only way that this bug can be hoped to be fixed.

Sadly there are no workarounds known, if you have another machine try running TLOPO on it. If you have a machine that has Intel integrated graphics and DOESN'T have this error, that's probably really great information for the team to have. Same goes for if you have a machine that has this error but doesn't have Intel integrated graphics.

Hi, both my brother and I are having the hanging issue when trying to enter Thieves Den on Fragilles.. Are there any tips on how to get around the bug?

Thanks!

do you think it could help to delete a game i have on my computer? for example i play star wars online, if i deleted that could that possibly help?

Ahoy, thank you!

Please find your Logs folder in your TLOPO installation location and attach the file to a reply here. We are working as quickly as possible to solve the issue, and any logs that help us isolate the issue are a huge help. See below:

Well, to start I'm new to the forums and really unsure where to post this other than here.
But, I've searched as much as I can in the forums before even writing this, and was unable to find anyone with my issue.

I just updated the game to the new launcher and everything and I'm able to log in, and even get into the game but I have an issue where the 'picture' is frozen unless I move my windowed screen around. I can click on buttons and such but for the screen to refresh the picture I have to move the window which is pretty odd to me.

I've tried messing with the in game options to see if that would possibly fix it and even tried unplugging my dual monitor, to no avail. So I'm really at a loss as to any other troubleshooting I could do to fix it. I've even attached my most recent log to see if that can be of any help.

While you're waiting for the experts to weigh in, I can start you off by asking what are your specs and system. Also, if you had a dual monitor hooked up and for some reason tlopo has a conflict with that, which I don't think it does, You may have to disable the second monitor in the windows setup screen. Don't do a thing until tlopo staff contact you however as I'm just suggesting listing the specs at this time. Also, what are the native res specs of your main monitor you're playing on?

Also, are you running any kind of 3rd party screenshot proggy, or social network things in the background? I've seen peoples desktop saves with like 20 programs running in the background. Also, streamers sometime conflict with games if not properly configured.

Does it look something like this?

I had this issue, the way I fixed it is by swapping the ports my monitors were plugged into. Basically the game is displaying based on the boot order of the monitors, and not the way they're set up in Windows. I realize it's not possible to swap your cables all the time if you're using different types of ports. In this case try making the other monitor the "main display" in Window's display settings. This should work as well.

You say you unplugged your second monitor. Did you unplug the cable from the actual PC, and then restart the game? As far as I know this issue is only related to >1 monitors. Unplugging the monitor from the actual PC and relaunching the game should have worked. But I'd make sure to check out the above workarounds as they're a bit more friendly to work with.

No its not like that, i can get it to load on only one screen, but when i get to the main menu everything is frozen in place, i run my game in windowed mode, so when i click to move the window around my screen the picture refreshes, but is still frozen. like the game is responding but the games graphics aren't moving around. I wish i had a way to record whats happening.

I know my computer is older and has intel intergrated graphics 2.66 ghz and 4 gb of ram., My monitor is just an old Dell monitor, it doesnt accept HDMI so i have a converter from VGA to HDMI to use it with my laptop, i tried unplugging it but the issue still happens. I also try to keep as little running in the background as possible since my computer is older.

Well, I went to open the game to try and record on my phone my issue and found there was an update.. and my issue is no longer there. I suppose I should have been a bit more patient, but I appreciate all the help c: Thank you.

This happens to me too. Every time I enter a cave it freezes and crashes. Here are my logs
