As of the infamy update, yes. Though the white should get changed to the regular subscribed blue/purple.

Hmmm....... Right with you there Will didn't know you could opt-out of the founder badge....
Do you have to pay to be a founder now or something? How does the founder thing work I though you got it by playing when the game came out and you become a founder till the day you die of suspicious circumstances.

When founders don't pay their sub, the tag goes grey like anyone else's. With the upcoming Infamy update, founders can choose to turn off (or "replace") their Founder badge, which currently results in a white name tag.
