Why is sailing statistically giving more famed weapons that land looting?

Time spent looting on land = ~ 20 hours with 0 Famed.

Time spent looting Dark Heart = ~ 15 Hours with 0 Famed.

Time spent looting on sea = ~ 35 hours with 24 famed.

Sea looting is giving me proportionally better loot, with my best run at 4 Famed in one day (and got Admirals Cutlass). Does any one notice that looting on land right now is a waste of time?
 
Depends on what you're looking for, if it's brights then tormenta is a good place and if it's famed/legendary then yeah sailing gives quite a lot most likely do to the fact that you can get the endless loading screen

Sailing is an ongoing problem that the team is aware of. They have been taking steps to handle the problem however, they have other priories. I know how depressing it can sound hearing someone spend 2 hours sailing and nearly getting a famed 100% of the time. While land looters spend 2 hours for a low chance of famed.

So trust me, they will fix the issue in time. :)
 
Land looting was nerfed.
Since everyone was at the bosses farming. Maybe try farming just regular mobs and see if it's better.
 
Just because you aren't getting the same Famed as you were in POTCO does not mean there is something wrong with the game (and I'm not saying looting is perfect right now). It's just your luck.

No one's talking about POTCO, besides you...
The point being made in the thread is that famed items are more readily obtainable at sea than on land, here in TLOPO.
