Edit: 3,000 to 4,000. Also disclaimer, I actually love this game. This just keeps happening to me lol

Ugh I see.

I do feel your pain. Iron is less than any other ship material I have. It seems too rare for a material. Maybe there's something wrong with it but don't tag me on that as I don't know.

Keep plundering and you'll possess what you ultimately desire pirate! :treasure:

Yeah I keep getting ridiculous amounts of canvas, the least valuable one, and almost no iron - which is not only used extensively in every upgrade tree but also stupidly high in cost for the one I'm going through haha.

I'm just not a lucky man though. I'll still get there, eventually.
 
I feel you. I've been grinding material runs lately, and 24 standard ship materials nets me about 75 iron, and I've managed to cut my needed iron down by half. 5 or 6 more runs and I'll have my upgrade

That was about 14 material chests there in the original post. That means half an iron per chest - 24 would give me 12 iron!

Of course it's not usually that bad lol. But I usually get no more than 2 iron per chest.
 
Wow! I wish I got that much pine in a run... I started out needing 250 and two weeks later I still need 25. The distribution must just be painfully random because I've got nearly 1500 iron that I don't really need.

Wish you could send some iron my way, and I would give you some pine. I have like, 1000 pine, that I've no use for at the time. I usually port with 50-100 pine.

Side note, I find it comical, that 3 of the posters in this thread are from Sailor's Cult! XD
