Quests 10th Anniversary Quest

So I keep getting the notice to see what's her name on PR about the 10th anniversary quest, so I talked to her and started the quest. It wasn't till after I went to the WIKI looking for how to find the Hallowed Woods that I found out you can't go in there now. But I also can't drop the quest. Now what? Is it ever going to come back or am I just stuck with a quest that can never be completed or gotten rid of?
 
You should still be able to enter, the event is still going on until January 31st I believe. Hollowed Woods is located inside King's Run up the hill near the waterfall.
