Workaround Are there any workarounds for this logging in issue?

I was hoping to go to the Meet and Greet later today, but I noticed my launcher is bugged and can't connect to the servers.

Simply put, I am unable to play TLOPO at this current moment.

I was hoping some people who have the same bug would have some insight on possible solutions.

Did you download the new launcher?

This happened yesterday....

It appears that our server host has unexpectedly stopped supporting the protocol we use for our launchers to securely connect to our servers. We are currently rewriting this part of our launchers to reflect this unexpected change. We were not given prior notification from our host that this protocol was being removed. We apologize for any inconvenience.

...they made a new launcher, but it only works for windows as yet, not mac.

I downloaded it, installed it (had to bypass windows security because it wasn't from a 'trusted source') then entered game the normal way. Some people do seem to have had more trouble with it though. This is the thread discussing it in case that doesn't work for you straight away https://piratesforums.co/threads/is-the-game-down-right-now.22817/

I have been trying for days - everytime i try to install the new launcher - it tells me an error occured and abort - sighs
