Most MMO's don't let you design your gear/look because gear usually has stats but in this game clothes don't have stats, so why not implement a way to design our clothes to gives us all that unique look. Simply choose the type of clothing (e.g. a shirt), then choose a pattern, then choose up to 3 regions (or more if possible) to place colors of your choice on the item of clothing chosen. Be also cool to design skins/outfits for weapons also. Just an idea.

Take it from someone who has made and textured 3D objects, it's not as easy as it seems, and this would present a problem when making sure everyone would see it the same way you do, additionally, you'd also need various resolutions of it to match the low, medium, and high texture quality settings.
