End of Castle

For those of you who don't know, yesterday was the season and series finale of Castle. After 8 seasons the show decided to shut down. For those of you who watched it, tell me things you liked about it, what you think about it ending, whatever you want.

I really liked the show and am sad to see it gone. However, for the final episode I think they should have just killed off Rick and Kate and just ended it there, without the seven years later thing.

I liked Castle, but it was kind of winding down. Talk is that there are a few other shows that we probably all like that are going the way of the mighty dodo.
