Explore Ship of Raven's Cove Quest Not Working

Other pirates and I have an issue where we get to the point of exploring El Patron's ship and we summon him, but instead of getting the quest "Defeat El Patron" we get 'Return to Dr. Bellrog" and when we go up to him, we can't actually talk to him. I'm wondering if anybody else experienced this and knows of a fix?

Same, and I can't get the weapons at the end of the boss fight. Reinstall didn't help. Also Kudgel is still there for me

EDIT: Deleting the launcher and installing it again - not uninstalling and reinstalling - seems to have worked for me.
