Question Gold from sailing

Hello everyone, I have a question, uhm I noticed that when I sail (even when I'm not the captain) i get more loot than other people (like more than 1k!), even they are in the same crew, they repair and shoot the enemy ships, I was wondering why this happens (days ago i got 3.5k from a sailing and a my friend only 1k..)

I'm not sure how it's figured tbh.... I have treasure sense on my pirate and had wondered if that effected it even when I wasn't at the wheel. Maybe the amount of damage done? So a lower level canon pirate would get less as he did less of the work?

This friend have an higher level of cannon more than me so i dont know tbh, also my trasure sense is level 2...i dont think would change like 2k + xD
