Gotham

I have approximately NO time to watch TV but maaaan - this show has me by the brain. The actors portraying Penguin and Ed Nigma are brilliant. I didn't even want to like this show but by the end of the second episode it had me.

Love it? Hate it? Gotham what?

I'm completely hooked. I love back stories I'm a sucker for those and cop shows, this is essentially all that. I fell in love with episode one. Gotham is brilliant, I'm especially loving Penguins progression and interconnectedness.

This weeks episode was kind of strange though.... But it is expected with the character that appeared.

At least in my opinion they balance perfectly the character development around the main line of Gordon and Bullock doing their jobs and fighting the corruption of the system. I'm especially fond of the Penguin's relationship with Gordon, and how it reveals this strongly developed sense of loyalty on the part of the Penguin, all the while he's shown himself to be a remorseless killer.
