how do i download the game or play it?

As of September 19, 2013, Pirates of the Caribbean Online (POTCO) closed and is no longer available to play.

Hey there, it has been closed for a while now, So there is no way to download it at all now. Sorry about that @Lisa

You may be talking of Pirates Online Rewritten. These are the forums for the community of POTCO. We are not the creators of any of the POTCO Emulators such as Pirates Online Rewritten. If you wish to see about one of these games I recommend you head over to one of their forums, however none of the games at this point are of a playable state. They are all still in development.
