Sailing Incorrect Ship Upgrade Prices

I'm planning to upgrade my medium class brig to streamlined level 1 (I have my reasons) but the price of upgrading to tier 1 is incorrect and way overpriced. The wikia states that the first upgrade requires 7,500 gold and 50 pine, but the game is requesting 10,000 gold and 100 pine for the 1st upgrade. I noticed this with my frigate as well but thought I was imagining, however my doubts were confirmed when I checked and double checked the wikia.

Hey Nick,

The prices change based on the ship you're trying to upgrade. All upgrades have a base cost, and are then multiplied by a number which is determined by the ship class.

P.S. This also means the Wikia needs an update, feel free to experiment and figure out those values!
P.P.S. These are POTCO rates, we did not alter them in any way.

I know that. Did you check the tables and my screenshot? Streamlined 1 costs 7,500 gold and 50 pine for a medium BRIG, which is what I have but it is not the correct price as is presented in the game. I have upgraded a frigate and the prices were the same as was on the wikia. I have no other upgrades on my ship, it's the base with no other upgrades.

Hi Nick,

The base price of the Streamlined 1 upgrade is 1000 gold, 10 pine. We know the base price because the Light Sloop determines this with its 1x multiplier. The medium brig has a multiplier of 10, which means that .. Oh, I'll let you do the math.

The wikia is community edited for the most part so it's possible data could be wrong. I'm not sure who is right, I generally believe the wikia but there is a chance the wikia got that wrong.

Hi Stephen,

This is something that came with POTCOs code. The code explicitly calculates these values, and we have replicated it exactly on our server. Unfortunately, some of the values on the wiki are not correct. I recommend going through the ships and fixing the incorrect pricing if you have the time.
