Question Is there/will there be PvP?

Yes, there will be PvP and I'm pretty sure it's already in the game now, but I don't know what you mean by "channels" for it
 
Sorry, I meant servers not channels. Like a dedicated server people could join where PvP is open world rather than inviting them to PvP individually.
 
I think he may be talking about PvP servers (vs. the existing PvE servers with PvP arenas/zones). This is a concept from other MMOs that sort of inverts the POTCO/TLOPO behavior, you can PvP in all zones by default except for certain safe zones. It's similar conceptually to the Muertos Moon event.
