I found these old screenshots from long time ago. I have never seen before that Jolly Roger actually had to 'run away' from pirates and hide behind the ... bushes?

Hmm ... interesting ... I guess if we - pirates - are determined enough, we could corner Jolly and prevent him from reaching wherever he needs to get to ...

To tell you the truth, I don't know (and I didn't know then either). He was just turning from the main path and went to the bushes. I thought that was strange, so I took a lot of screenshots.
