Needing suggestions

Looking to buy a good dual monitor setup. I'm currently running an old TV monitor and an old HP computer monitor and the HP is slowly dying and the TV monitor blows everything up to where it hurts to look at for long periods of time.

I'm hoping to get them replaced at a fairly cheap price. Willing to put down about $300 at max. Not looking for something super fancy but do want to get something that'll be a nice gaming set but if that's not in the question for my price range then I'm fine with something that doesn't kill my eyes like my current setup.

What is your preference for resolution? 1080p?

1080p is fine with me. Down for anything around 15-25 inch in resolution size as well. Anything smaller or bigger will be too small/big for me.

The ASUS VS248H-P is my main gaming monitor. It's 60Hz and has a really nice IPS panel with very good colors. Two of these will max out your budget, but personally I think it's worth it.
