On the Horizon: Meetups

Ahoy,
An all-new feature is coming to the Caribbean soon: Meetups! As you can probably tell from the name, meetups offer a wonderful area to gather with friends and guildmates!
With Meetups, you can finally host proper guild meetings in-game, rather than using the warehouse in Kingshead, for example. These new locations can be made public for anyone to join, or private to select people. To do this, you need to ensure your friends have your lobby ID (password) in order to join the Meetup.
These Meetups also offer a wonderful opportunity for the storytimes that take place in the Caribbean, with an added level of privacy that weren’t available previously. You will even be able to kick any ne’er-do-wells from your meetup! We hope all of you storytellers out there take advantage!
There are many, many locations for Meetups. The infamous Shanty Shack, Meeting Hall, Avery’s Consignment & Catering and many more are ready to be used. We can’t wait for you all to see them when Lobbies is released. Some even have a few easter eggs in them!
