Combat Possible venom bug?

When shooting an enemy with a venom shot it will deal damage right? So when I shoot an enemy with low hp and decide to let it die from the venom because it should deal enough damage to kill it I go to the next enemy. Turns out it doesn't... instead when an enemy reaches the point where there is no health in the health bar, it stops dealing damage even if he still has 10 seconds of venom.

I'm not sure if this is suppose to be a feature, although if it is it makes no sense as to why venom wouldn't kill an enemy.

Not sure if this happened on POTCO, but I can confirm that this happens, and it doesn't seem right.

Venom shot is my main ammunition, can confirm this ^

I think it happens with adder and sidewinder as well and probably any ammo type that deals damage overtime

None of the Weapons work accordingly , another massive bug yet to get fixed
