Sank too quickly

I apologize if this has been reported, couldn't locate it. I was using the cannon on another person's ship, just two of us. We had about 3/4 health for the ship but suddenly we were sunk. Seems that shouldn't have happened that quickly. Might be a bug, we were near Raven's Cove (if that helps).

Also Cerberus and Battle Royale!

And a single explosive from the upper deck guns of a Behemoth, Vengeance, Scorned Siren and Tally Ho, among other ships I can't remember, will also sink many small ships.
