Stormchaser War Sloop for mat runs?

I don't know if this is viable - the context is for example using the huge clusters on abassa each time. Would it be wise to use a war sloop to stay away from all the hunters and warships and only lightly tag these ships and let others sink it?

Or would this kind of ship only be viable for SvS?

If everyone is willing to tag there will be actually no one to sink it ...

For mat runs, I suggest u be self-sufficient with a ship that can sink quickly and a good crew ...

If you're going to "stay far away" you should use something with a large cargo capacity. That way it takes longer for you to get hunters after yourself, letting you fill up on more materials before porting.

If you have hunters after you, you can never outrun them, and your ship type no longer really matters in that context.

Mind, storm chaser war sloop is certainly useful for more than just SvS. You can sail normally with it, or cluster sail with it. Just your specific idea for cluster sailing isn't very intuitive for a ship with a small cargo hold.

Cluster sailing is basically your typical Abassa sailing - where everyone piles into one area and you fight each other's hunters/warships. It's good for racking up materials much faster, even though many of us absolutely hate it lol.
