The Long awaited Ship customization is finally out. With it, there also be a new ship sailing the Caribbean Seas. So where better to test the improved and new ships other than SvS against other fellow pirates. Interested? Join this friendly SvS contest.

This is a friendly SvS competition that will last ONE(1) FULL HOUR.
The Event is open to ALL pirates in the Caribbean and its main goal is FUN and only FUN. Winning should be a bonus and done fairly!

Entering Requirements:
  1. War Sloop, War Frigate or War Brig.
  2. Minimum crew of 2 gunners/cannoneers.
  • Customized ship recommended

How to Enter:
Once you meet the requirements above, reply here on this forum thread by stating:
  1. Ship Name
  2. Pirate Name (Captain)
  3. Guild Name (Optional) and if crew is representing the guild.
  4. Side – French or Spanish (Optional)

For Your Information:
  • More than one ship per guild is allowed.
  • Ships of the same guild can be on different sides.
  • If a side is not posted it will be chosen for you to even the sides up.
  • IF YOU DO SIGN UP AND THEN YOU KNOW YOU CANNOT ATTEND ANNOUNCE IT HERE ON THE THREAD.
  • This is not a guild vs. guild event therefore your crew can be made up of friends/others.
  • Winners will be announced on the Founders and Pirates Association, Pirates Online Forums and Pirates Forums site.
  • Customized ship is not required but recommended to perform better.

SvS/Privateering Event Code:

  1. All Pirates must AVOID any offensive talk, any glitch/cheat and drama at all times.
  2. Captains must wait for the Hosts command to start the battle.
  3. Teamwork to sink one ship is allowed. After all this is also a team event.
  4. Sailors must stay within the boundaries on the map provided.
  5. If a participant breaks any rule they will be automatically disqualified.
  6. You must stay for the Full Hour for your ship to count. Do not sign up if you can’t.
  7. Sink ‘Em All!
  8. Have a Good Time!

I ask of you coming that you please be respectful to all players and rules. There will be no one looking at you if you are running too far out, complaining, doing something wrong, etc. But please be logical, have some respect for all pirates and for the game we all play, and follow the simple instructions provided above.

This is not an Individual Contest therefore please do not brag. There will be three announced winners but that doesn't mean that whoever wins is the "best SvSer". The whole point of this to have fun and enjoy SvS for what it is.

That being said, do your best and Sink 'Em All!

Changing ships, just got a streamlined war sloop called the storm shark, gonna use that if I can get some gunners, riptide wrath if I don't get gunners.
 
Any idea...(lol)...when the next SVS event will take place?

With the need in spending lots of time plundering for materials (customizing my biggest ships first for the most 'long term' gains), I may have to delay the urge to sign up currently & just wait for the next one...further down the road :sad1:.

My War sloop would basically be a "sitting duck" if I tried to participate in such an event, right now :facepalm:

Aww sorry mate. This has yet to happen so i cant really say about the next event after it. Perhaps you could join someone as a gunner though.

I need a specific or i cannot put you in. And you posted that you are leaving POTCO. Can you please reply here and clarify if you are gonna participate or not? If yes, than post all the specific info.

So far this has been a great turnout and I am hoping that all ships do Show Up at the event taking place tonight. However, If you are not able to attend, please do inform me by posting so i may remove the ship name therefore rebalance the teams

The event will start soon. Please, when you come online, know what side you will be representing. The faster we start, the better the event will go as planned. I wish you good luck and a very enjoyable time.
