As it turns out, before Viper came out, only the Behemoth had +5 boost on a skill. This one has 3 +5 boosts on skills.

Rare? More like famed or even- legendary.

Legendary is going a bit far.

If the rumors end up correct, and there's a legendary Scimitar, that would be awesome.

Even if the rumors are false- I think a common and legendary Scimitar is a possibility.

A saddening thing about these new weapons is that they are the only ones of their type, which can only be obtained by "persuading" a GM.

The Scimitar sword was commonly used along the Barbary Coast, and throughout Southwest Asia. Corsairs were the pirates that used them.

I am excited that they are releasing new weapons for sure! I hope that we see more of these dangerous weapons soon! I hope to find an EITC dog and get one of these blade for my Pirate Nazzim!

Got Desert on JFR!!! Now I have both weapons; Viper's on JBR and Desert on JFR.

*For those curious and like doing their JFR homework, I trashed Master Fencer's to make room.
