You can now hire/recruit Light ships or Medium ships to escort your War Ship.
Once sunk, you can hire more. If you sink, they will leave battle and await you at your respawn location.
Bonus if they have distinguishable captains from over 100 models with unique yet generated names.
A small management window on your left hand side can give you a quick overview of your relationship with the privateers. Hull HPs, Ship types and crew sizes all viewable as well.
Up to the devs/people what the max size for a small fleet should be.
