I'm a returning player from the days of old when Disney had the game. I left just like so many others of us did when the sails stopped catching wind the day they ended play and I never stopped thinking of it. Only recently in November of 2019 I did a search on Pirates online and found it was revived by a group even more dedicated than myself.
I dropped everything in the game I was playing to fill the gap Pirates left ( LOTRO ) and hit the planks running. It's nice to be back and it's even nicer to see how many people are still playing with even more vigor and kindness than before. Happy sailing everyone, may the fair winds of the west always be at your back.
