Applying a beta key someone else has found

How does this work? Hypothetically, if someone gives me the key code, where/how do I apply it to my account?

Apologies since I am sure this has been asked before - I have searched and was unable to find this info. thanks in advance!
 
Hmmm, I omly see a place that says "earned keys", no place to enter info. Sorry I'm a pain!

http://prntscr.com/e23jsg If a key is NOT activated on your account, there should be a small section there containing a white box where you can enter your key. Once you do, the box disappears and you can play whenever you want. If it's not there already, but you cannot play without a playtime, contact TLOPO Support.
 
If you are still confused, the spot for the key shows up on Account page and looks like :
