Geez... You can notice how the game has depleted throughout the years graphics-wise.
The beta looks so much better than the ones we use now

To launch a ship, you had to walk up and talk to a dock attendant. You launch your ship from him, and 5 seconds later it appears next to the dock. Your crew stands next to the ship and boards it. If your ship is not moved within 30 seconds, it disappears.
When you dock your ship, you drive up close to the port you wish to dock at and drop your anchor. Your ship stays out in the ocean, so you can easily access your ship. When you are not on your ship, it cannot be attacked by enemy ships.
To exit your ship, you simply walk to the edge, press Shift, and it drops you into the water. Then you go ahead and swim to shore.

I think Disney knew what the ships looked in reality. They just wanted to make their own version, most likely because of cost. That is what it all comes to.

Beta was better. I like how the ships had the skeleton at the front lol I used to have all of the beta ships but when they changed them they changed my ships
