Can't get past the loading screen

When I first logged on a few minutes ago, everything was working well. However, after landing my ship in Tortuga, My game crashed. Since this is beta, I was expecting many crashes, as I've already experienced all the other times I got on. However, Now every time I log on to that character, the loading screen reaches 100% and then stops. I did have loot when I reached Tortuga, and that usually causes the game to crash, however, it's not loading back up.

Make sure your VSync is on under settings, and possibly turn off fancy skydome, fancy loading screen and lower you graphics a bit.

Ok, I did turn off VSync since it could lower FPS (For most games at least). Thanks for the idea, I'll see if it works.

Normally, I recommend keeping VSync on, but if it worked... Great!

Same problem for me. I'll try the vsync thing later when my reserve time is up
