Coloured clothing glitch

I remember during Alpha, we were warned agenst using the cothing glitch as it could break our account.^
Now in the game, I see more and more ppl using that glitch and was wondering if its still harmfull to our accounts?

In Alpha the pirate breaking clothing glitch was different. Players were moving clothing around in inventory/equipping etc, in such a way it was giving them NPC's clothing. That was the one that could corrupt a pirate's database and render it useless. That has been fixed I believe.

The clothing glitch in Beta is something with the clothing color, changing the color from what it should be. So far no reports of consequences with that one. I'm not saying it's safe, just hasn't broken any pirates yet. Glitch at your own risk
