Dark Blacks

It seems that most high lvl players wear Dark Blacks (also known as db). This is of course because they cannot be bought in stores and are rare like brights and fames. But throughout playing the game I have never found a dark black. Im level 36 and I still can't seem to find any db. I did find many many brights and several fames but I just cant find any dark blacks.

Looting is entirely luck based but is there anywhere specific you guys loot for them? Any good ways to find them?

For some reason I believe the game randomly chooses a bright color that a player will get first before any other color, I've gotten dark black a lot when I was a low level up until I was level 50, now I hardly get any for some reason, my other pirate got a lot of lavender from the beginning and now gets a lot of bright red not to mention I get the same kind of clothing over and over
