Glitch Exiting potions

The glitch is when you press the Esc key, your character exits but the menu stays up. So you click the exit potions button at the bottom but when the menu fades away the screen just stays black. You have to relog in to fix it.

I found that if you hit exit on the congratulations screen after making the potion, you usually don't glitch.

I know that, but I'm talking about before you even do one or after you click continue when this happens.
