So, I had weird dream a while back ago, and I decided to write a book off of it. Below is a summary of the prologue, because posting the actual prologue is just too much.But if you are interested in reading it, click the link in my sig. Enjoy!
Excuse poor grammar and such, I wrote this summary in a hurry. If it were not a summary, it would have been almost 50 pages long, single spaced, and in size 7 font.
It starts out in the year 1995. There is a man who is a doctor, but he helps a special CIA team with their interrogations. But he has been noticing something around certain people, an aura of light. But, the only people who notice the aura's are people with it. Every person on the CIA team has it. But when he sees the auras, he can see their aura's "strength". Most people can. Most people have an "average" strength, but the women in charge of the special CIA team strength is nearly 2-3x that of most people.
Since the doctor is helping the team with their stuff, he has to work the late shift at the hospital. It was a busy night, so to use the restroom, he had to go to the maternity ward(where baby's are born).
As he exited the bathroom, he saw a woman who was in labor being wheeled down the hallway. Her strength in the aura caught his eye, since it was equal with the CIA woman. But it wasnt the womans strength that caught his eye. He followed them to a delivery, and by judging by the chaos, it was a special delivery (baby had low chance of survival.)
When the baby was born his strength was 4x greater than that of his mom and the CIA womans put together. The doctor was so shocked that he did stuff to kidnap the baby and make it look like the child had died after birth.
Ok so it's 8 years later, and the boy has been training as a killer since he was 6. The doctor has completely given his time to the CIA team and has disappeared to the public ever since he kidnapped the boy.
The woman had to go on a mission and left with her team. They had a successful mission.
They were returning in the middle of the night, and the highway was clear, and out of the sky something dark fell and landed in front of them. They stopped their vehicle and got out to see what it was. When they get out of the vehicle and head to the front, a creature with skin made of darkness, head that looked like of a lizard, and the arms and hands of a man, though without a pinky. The bottom half of the creature was gone. They started dragging the body of the creature, and as they moved its body in the headlights, its lower half suddenly appeared. They got some lamps from their car, put it over where they thought the lower half of its body was, and were shocked that it appeared when the light was shown over it.
The brought it back to their base for the doctor to experiment on it. To prevent it from waking up they constantly are injecting tranquilizer into its body from four different points.
Its been three years now. They have sent the boy to silence people because they were digging in too deep into the team, now called the SHADOW team because of their effectiveness in interrogation, and they might have discovered the creature. One of the people he killed was the Assistant Director of the CIA.
The doctor finds out that the creature can almost instantly regenerate its blood. He also finds out that human blood(HB) and the creatures blood(CB) mix at a rate of 1-1. Meaning that if you get a cup of HB and CB, they will fuse together, making the blood a darkish-red. But if you were to mix it 1cup of HB and 1.5cups of CB, the .5cups of CB would boil. What is strange about the boil is that it was cold, not hot.
To make sure that everyone was the same, the doctor testes each person blood with that of the creature. When he finally got to the boys blood, he discovered that the boy blood mixed in at a rate of 1-9. 1cup boys blood and 9 cups CB.
They decide that they are going to remove half the blood of each of their agents and replace it with that of the creatures. He first does all the agents first, then does the boy last.
When he operates on the agents, he belts them to the table, gives them enough tranquilizer to keep them out for 3 hours, then he does the process of removing half of their blood then replacing it with that of the creature. Once the creatures blood is injected into the normal agents, the wake up after ten minutes, and when they wake up their skin changes and looks like that of the creature, though it only lasts momentarily.
When he does the operation on the boy, he triples the dose of tranquilizer and starts the operation. They remove 90% of his blood and replace it with that of the creature. After fifteen minutes the boy wakes, and when he wakes up, his skin is exactly like that of the creature. The boy instantly starts screaming, though it is not a high pitched scream, the lights above him shatter, and when this happens the boy thinks to himself, I don't want to be here. And when he thinks that, he starts falling in darkness. When he starts falling, he gets so scared he thinks to himself that he wants to go back, and ends up in the corner of the room.
It has been five years since all the agents were injected with the creatures blood, and since the agents had gained strange abilities, the team has grown confident in their abilities in assassination and kidnapping and they started accepting jobs from outside organizations and governments. They group has assassinated many high profile targets such as US Senators, congressman, ambassadors from many countries, government leaders from small and 3rd world countries, and most recently the Vice President of the US.
The boy failed to make sure a CIA operative outside SHADOW Team from discovering that they were the ones responsible for killing of many important people. The team knew right away that they were discovered and right away they evacuated their base. As they were transporting the creature, they dropped it and it woke up momentarily. Since the creature was drugged, it could not do much, but as it woke up, all the agents could feel something, though they don't know what. The boy put it back to sleep and the strange feeling in their heads went away.
A few months later, the boy is on a mission, and he is currently trying to follow someone without being discovered. The person gets spooked, but not by the boy, and runs into an alley. The boy follows him and loses him in the alley as there are many forks. As the boy is looking for the man, he feels something in his head and looks up. When he looks up, he sees large dark objects falling from the sky. One of them lands a few yards in front of him and 6 of the dark creatures burst out. The boy pulls out a silenced hand gun, and unloads a whole clip on one of the creatures. The bullets had no affect on the creature, and the boy stumbles back in confusion and fear. He is directly under the light of a lamp, and as he looks on at the creatures, he can see that they are afraid to enter the light of the lamp. This act of fear lasts only a second as one of the creatures walks into the light and notices that it has n affect on it. The creature than lunges at the boy and as the boy, who has no means of defending himself, brings his hands up to try to push the creature off him, he summons a blade of light and kills it. This enrages the other creatures, and they lung also lunge at him. The boy then summons multiple shafts of the light and hurls it at the creature. He kills two of them as the others jump of to the side. One of the creatures was able to quickly recover and hit the boy square in the chest which caused to get knocked back a couple of feet. As the boy got hit, he let go of the blade of light to keep as much balance as possible. He quickly recovers, but he is enraged at the creatures and summons another blade, but instead of being made of light, it was made of darkness. The boy quickly kills the rest of the creatures. When he kills the last creature, he lets go of the darkness and calls the doctor, and he finds out that they were also attack, but they were able to kill off all the creatures, but they had ordered all their agents back. As the boy was talking on the phone, he had summoned a blade of light and messing around with it. When he hung up, he had tried to embrace the dark so he could use it travel back to the base. When ha had tried to embrace the dark nothing happened. The boy had no idea why nothing was working so he let go of the blade of light, and then he tried again. This time he was able to use the dark and travel back to his base.
