Not really a suggestion or anything, but a cool idea for a game would be a futuristic version of POTCO, but with plenty of similarities. The level cap would be 70 with weapons cap of 50. The weapons would be as follows:
Energy Saber (Similar to Sword)
Plasma Gun
Controller (Similar to Voodoo Doll)
Matter Cutter (Similar to Dagger)
Grenades
Energy Rod (Similar to Voodoo Staff)
Runic Axe
Elemental Shooter (Flamethrower/Icethrower)
Piercing Bow and Arrow
Dark Arts (Final Weapon)
And instead of Sailing, you would pilot a Spaceship across space and fight enemy spaceships to gain levels in that as well. Planets would be like islands, with a few main hubs and more secluded areas. However, instead of buying a specific kind of ship (sloop, galleon, etc.), you would get a very basic spaceship at the start and buy parts later on to improve your stats such as speed, turn speed, armor, attack, etc. The customization would be kind of like Spore but consequential in which parts go where.
