Game won't start up

My launcher works fine and the command prompt comes up but it throws an error and immediately closes. I have deleted all files and re-installed twice so far. Although it was a pain I was able to successfully copy the log from the command prompt before it closed.

I was having the same problem. The reason why it couldnt launch was because i had set my game on FULLSCREEN mode Setting. I had to do reinstall the game about 4 times before it launched again to default setting (WINDOWS mode).
 
I'm have a similar issue where when I try to load the game it says I can't connect. Below is the code.

Do you get to the character choosing site?
If yes try turning off fancy sky dome and turning on vsync.
Also if running in fullscreen try turning that off.
Are you meeting the required system specs?
 
Okay so I did manage to fix this before I came back to this post, what I had to do was re-install the game on another hard drive. For some reason it would not work on my main drive anymore no matter how many times I re-installed it.

To answer your questions Cheese no the command prompt only comes up for a second then almost instantly closes and afterwards nothing happens. In order to get the log I had to click on the command prompt and go to select mode and hold down Left-Control+A until it highlighted the whole thing then copy it, but as soon as I would copy it the command prompt would close. It would also close if I selected every bit of the log up until the end and kept holding Left-Control+A. That's why it was so hard to get that log.

I always have fancy sky dome off and vsync on.

The issue did first start when putting on fullscreen mode. I clicked on fullscreen and my screen went black and I had to force restart my PC because it wouldn't leave the black screen no matter what.

As far as system specs goes I'm running a GeForce GTX 1080, Intel i7 6700k, 16GB of ram at 3200Mhz and Windows 10 Pro OS.

If this issue is cause by putting your game in fullscreen which is almost certainly what it is, I would suggest that fullscreen be entirely disabled until this issue can be fixed. Unless someone finds another way to fix this then anyone who runs into this issue and only has one hard drive is not going to be able to play.
