Discussion GMs Organize PVP Event on Tortuga

GMs organized a pvp event at Tortuga today. Was pretty fun, though in pvp my character wouldn't stop auto rotating in circles, oh well. Those present also witnessed a 1 shot regular grenade and the approval of a new guild name in like 10 seconds. Thanks for taking the time!

Woo hoo! I made the sceenshot! Had a blast in PVP! I did horribly but still had a blast! Thanks for organizing!

I also ran in circles. Every time I respawned (I died a LOT) I would be stuck in whatever direction I was running when I died if it was left or right.

Auto running in circles is something from potco and you should be able to stop it by pressing the left or right arrow keys or q e a and d keys, you can also try pressing the esc key a bunch of times.

As bad as my pvp skills are it actually helped! I got hit less.

I could run the other direction by pressing the opposite button but as soon as I let off it ran the other way again.

The autospinning usually stops when I press ESC a lot, but in the PVP that didn't work. I tried arrow keys and WASD but that also didn't help. Sometimes the spinning just stops though.

I guess it does make you harder to hit, but if you're using cutlass it makes it hard to hit your target effectively.
