It should suffice to say that discovering that the POTCO community still lives in such numbers surprised me quite a bit. Then again, when I think back to the emotional attachment people had to the game, I realize that I really shouldn't be so surprised. When you witness people not only marrying characters, but using the game as a way to carry out a real-life marriage, it really shows how much the game meant to people then, and still means to people now. It's quite remarkable.
Anyways, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Gravity Well. I'm from California, and started playing the original version of POTCO around nine years ago. The loss of the servers was such a shame, but finding this was great and I couldn't be more excited to see where this goes.
