I have Razor Cortex and actually tried this a couple of days ago. Unfortunately it did not help.

I have default settings, so I would assume so.

Razer Cortex is more of a hassle than a help. It along with all booster simply terminate small processes and the CPU it clears, it fills up simply by running the program.

Having an old PC, the only thing I have found to actually help is lowering the settings, turning rain and shadows off, and decreasing the resolution.
