Hello fellow pirates! I am showing you guys the benefits of 4:3 stretched resolution or any stretched resolution in general, 4:3 is simply the most common. You can find an informative list to display ratios here.
Stretched resolutions are basically where instead of having the annoying black bars on the sides when you lower your resolution, it will stretch the game to fit the whole screen.
Benefits: More FPS due to your computer having to render out more pixels.
Disadvantage: Looks more pixelated and uglier (I like it this way)
Comparison:
1024x768 (4:3) VS. 1920x1080 (16:9)
How to do this:
if you have AMD, click here (YouTube Tutorial)
if you have NVIDIA, click here (YouTube Tutorial)
if you have Intel (computers without independent GPU), click here (YouTube Tutorial)
If you don't know what GPU you have,
