Glitch Launcher doesn't start game

When I start the launcher, the command prompt comes up, goes through a number of lines then closes. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didn't fix the issue; ideas?
Windows 10
Alienware x51 r2

This is also happening to me, I am not sure what is wrong though. I also have an Alienware and it has Windows 10. I thought it was normal and the game will let me play but the game will crash every once in a while or I will join the game and have lost all my weapons and clothes, I usually get them back after a while of waiting (5-10 minutes).

For all expierencing this issue follow these steps:
1. right click the launcher
2.click "open file location"
3.find "game_options"
4.find fullscreen and change the number to zero
5.close the windows

Its the Muerto's moon and redeem codes update. Check piratesforums.co/threads/game-web-server-notifications.13245/... They typically have updates on then they start the update, and when the game goes back online

Did you click open file location when right clicking the launcher? I just did it and it was there

I've got the same problem on my Mac (OS 10.11.3). Not sure if the update would have done it, but I've only been having this problem yesterday and today.
Since it's a Mac, the above steps can't be followed :/

It is not under a sub-folder, it's in the main folder

another user did this for me; he means that the only way he can fix the matter is for someone to copy their game_options file and send him a link to the copy for use as a replacement.
