Lotro: Beorning class/race is coming November 5th, 2014!

The Beorning will become available this Wednesday, Nov. 5th, 2014.
The Beorning is considered both a Class and a Race.

Only a Beorning can be a Beorning, and only a Beorning can be a Beorning.

Beornings are descend from ancient Men, from Grimbeorn and Beorn himself. They can "skin-change" into bears when angered. They are gruff, distrustful, impolite, respect all creatures of nature, and hate Orcs more than anything.
Beornings are closely related to the Rohirrim (and other Men), but are larger and more rugged. They are both male and female.
Unlocking the Class

• When you first select the Beorning on the Character Selection screen, an "UNLOCK" button will appear in the lower right of the central screen, instead of the "Continue" button. Clicking on that "Unlock" button will take you to the in-game LOTRO-store.

Mousing over the Unlock button will display the message:
"You cannot create a character of this class until you purchase it from the LOTRO Store."
Cost: Unlocking the Beorning costs 1,000 Turbine Points from the Lotro Store: Classes, even for VIP's.
Note that there are two options to do this unlocking and they can be done in two locations.

• Locations: You can go directly to the Lotro-Store Beorning options from the Character Selection screen, or you can launch the LOTRO Store and search for "Beorning" at any time you can access the LOTRO Store while in-game.
• Unlocking the class ONLY on the Character Creation Screen, this is account wide.
• Adding one additional character slot AND unlocking the Class from the LOTRO Store. This option provides you with the ability to add One additional character slot on each server bringing your maximum potential number of characters per server to 21 (as of Update 15.)

Option 1: Unlock the Beorning Class only

Transform between Man and Bear to fight the enemy. Unlock the Beorning for your account.
The Beornings channel their wrath in combat better than any other race, which allows them to harness it and change into their bear form. While in bear form the Beornings are capable of increased damage and other abilities. Beornings are able to fulfill the role of Damage, Tank, Healer, or Support.

Note: If you purchase (unlock) the Beorning Class only, you cannot later purchase the Beorning and Character Slot Bundle.
This means that the maximum character slots available to your account is reduced by one.
