Quests Major Bug Needs to be done right away!

Hello Dear Pirates.

I am here posting my first thread to make your life easier since yesterday wasn't for me..
let me explain.. DON'T SKIP THE TUTORIAL AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME!
reason? Simple .. you cant play the STORY QUEST like this it wont go on, you wont have an ability (number 1, number 2, etc..) and you will have major issues going through with the game without taking the tutorial..
So please just play the tutorial and continue like normal..
Thanks for reading if you didn't understand a thing just let me know.
 
You have to spend points to activate abilities. Press K to see various skills for sword, guns, cannon, etc.

I meant yesterday I played my first time in the beta, and I didn't go for the Tutorial.. I didn't get my ability the one that WILL TURNER teaches you, and I the STORY quest didn't pop out at the beginning pressing J didn't help since there is no quest to follow.
I later made a new Character and took the Tutorial and everything was OKAY! so its all about taking the quest.
Don't believe me just make a new character and don't take the Tutorial and see for yourself.

I am currently almost a lvl 6 and voodoo doll quest has not appeared... Can someone help solve this??? thanks

I understand now. The quest with Will Turner disappeared for me too. I skipped the tutorial. Also, the voodoo doll quest is related to Will Turner?
